Legacy ShareScope Plus & Pro
RuleTrader plugs into ShareScope, the UK’s #1 investment data and analysis software, which provides the share data that RuleTrader uses. Originally, we developed RuleTrader to work with the desktop version of ShareScope (both its Plus and Pro variants), which are now known as Legacy ShareScope Plus and Pro. The ‘Legacy’ part of the name reflects the fact that the desktop product will be phased out towards the end of 2026 in favour of the new, web-based version of ShareScope (formerly known as SharePad). But don’t worry, we’ll have RuleTrader ready to transition before the Legacy version is retired, so you’ll have a smooth upgrade path.
In the meantime, if you don’t already have a copy of Legacy ShareScope, you can obtain one by calling ShareScope on 0800 052 1515 or emailing them on info@sharescope.co.uk. Please remember to tell them that you want a Legacy ShareScope license for use with RuleTrader, as they are not normally available to new customers, due to its legacy status.
