If you’d like to proceed, then uninstalling RuleTrader is essentially a reversal of the installation process (note that the trade data stored in your ShareScope portfolios or cash-accounts will not be deleted or otherwise affected):

1. In ShareScope, switch to the RuleTrader Test layout, then use the menu options Window > Delete A Layout to remove the layout. Then switch to the RuleTrader Live layout and do the same.
2. Click on a chart in any other remaining layout, then use the menu option Graph Settings > Delete a Historical Graph setting to delete the RT Test Chart and RT Live Chart settings
3. Click on a share list window and use List Tables > Delete a List Table to delete the RT Live Share List, RT Test Share List and RT Portfolio settings
4. Finally, click on a Details window and use Details Settings > Delete a Details Setting to delete the RT Details setting
5. Shut ShareScope down
6. If you’ve not already done it, on your PC, go to Windows’ Settings > Apps > Installed apps (or Control Panel > Programs and Features), then select the entry for RuleTrader and click Uninstall to remove the RuleTrader application.

Your data files, such as your Trading Specifications, live session data, or back-test results, which you may have created with RuleTrader, will not be deleted, as that data belongs to you. If you’d like to remove these files, simply use Windows File Explorer to delete the directory: …\ShareScope\ShareScript\Output\RuleTrader.
