Runups
| Max Run-Up % | Maximum percentage increase in capital from a previous lowest low in the period to the next highest high, where the highest high is defined as the highest price reached before a new low price (that is even lower than the previous lowest low) is found, or until the end of the period, whichever is sooner. As each low is found, the previous high is confirmed and the previous percentage runup to that high is stored. When the end of the period is reached, the largest of the percentage runups found in the period is returned. |
| Max Run-Up % End Date | Date the Max Run-Up % ended |
| Max Run-Up % Start Date | Date the Max Run-Up % started |
| Max Run-Up | Maximum value increase in capital from a previous lowest low in the period to the next highest high, calculated in the same way as Max Run-Up % but using the value change of the run-up. So the value run-up for each period won’t necessarily return the same run-up as Max Run-Up % in the period, as the % run-up depends on the start value of the run-up. |
| Max Run-Up End Date | Date the Max Run-Up started |
| Max Run-Up Start Date | Date the Max Run-Up started |
NB: Paid dividends are always included in runup calculations, irrespective of the ‘Dividends are:’ setting.
