Technical Support tab
This tab provides useful information about your current RuleTrader version and license and account number. It also provides 5 buttons to help you maintain your RuleTrader installation:
- Get Latest Version: as the name suggests, this calls the RuleTrader server to check whether you have the latest RuleTrader version installed
- What’s New: lists the latest changes in the version of RuleTrader you have installed
- Contact Support: displays a dialog where you can enter and then send a message or question you’d like our support team to answer for you. It also allows you to request a call-back from our support team and to specify the optimum time for us to call you.
- Restore From Backup: progressively older backups are automatically made of your RuleTrader settings, session data, and Trading Spec Definitions files. This button allows you to pick one of those backups, based on the date and time it was made, and then to restore data from those files. You should never need to do this, but its handy to have if your current files suffer any misfortune.
- System Logging: this button should only be used under direction from RuleTrader Support
