Create A Batch Test

With this dialog you can create, edit, delete, display or execute a batch test, allowing you to run a sequence of back-tests unattended

The Batch Tests For Unattended Execution dialog, shown above, is displayed when you click the Batch Back-Tests button, on the right-hand side of the Test System tab in the Dashboard. This dialog lets you define a batch of back-tests that can run unattended. With these, you can sequentially test variations in a series of Trading Specs. Or you can repeatedly test the same Spec, while varying the value of constants in that Spec, or the period of the test, or the nominal trade-size, or different cohorts of sampled shares from the trading list.

To get started, please enter the name for a new batch-test and click Create, which will take you to the Batch-Test Specification dialog.

Alternatively you can click the … (browse) button to find a previously defined batch-test definition, and then either Edit or Delete it, or Show it in the Console, or Execute it, using the various buttons shown.
